WEBCAT Domain Enrollment

Submit domain enrollment requests to the WEBCAT test network

Before you enroll

  1. Make your application WEBCAT-compliant

Your site needs a signed manifest and WEBCAT-compatible headers before it can be enrolled. See the documentation for how to do this.

  2. Publish your enrollment file

Serve your enrollment policy over HTTPS at this path: https://example.com/.well-known/webcat/enrollment.json

Every observation oracle fetches this URL directly, so it must be reachable from the public internet before you submit.

  3. Submit your domain below

Your browser solves a short proof-of-work challenge for each observation oracle, then sends the request. Keep this tab open until the results appear.

After you submit: the oracles observe your domain and vote. Once they agree, your enrollment waits out a delay period before it lands in the canonical list, so it will not take effect immediately.

Enter the domain or subdomain to enroll (e.g., example.com or test.example.com)
